The New York Times — Tokyo Guide
I shot both photo and video for The New York Times “Your Guide to Tokyo.”
From profiling a female sushi chef, to documenting a nostalgic kissaten in Nihonbashi and an Edo period garden, the work spans neighbourhoods and everyday city scenes. The aim was to share visuals that gave a real sense of the depth and nuance of life in Tokyo.
Working on this guide was a meaningful milestone in my career and a chance to contribute to long-form editorial storytelling about a city I live and work in.
